The Mosi family keeps growing! After the Mosi Mittens, their matching hat and sweater, I have now designed matching socks using my Katla Sokkaband yarn, the first Icelandic sport/DK sock yarn, made of pure Icelandic lambswool with a dash of silk. The little motifs on a green background ensure that the fabric is warm and remind of the thick and spongy moss (mosi in Icelandic) that covers Old Icelandic lava fields. The socks are knitted from the cuff down with an afterthought heel and a wedge toe.

Sizes: 1(2,3,4)
You can achieve more sizes by changing needle size and adjust the length by adding or withdrawing rnds/ bands of motif.

Finished measurements:
Foot circumference: 21(23,25.5,27.5) cm / 8(9,10,11)”
Foot length: 19(21,23.5,24.5) cm / 7½(8¼,9¼, 9¾)”
Recommended fit: negative ease of 2.5 cm /1” in circumference and 15% in length.
