The Moulin Rouge Cowl is knitted in a Nurturing Fibres dk singles yarn. It’s exceptionally soft and luxurious. Any suitable double knitting yarn can be used for this project, if you would like to make a yarn comparison with the NF yarn before you purchase yarn or use yarn from your stash, look here, Another yarn that can be used is the Madelinetosh dk.
I knitted this cowl with a 4mm circular needle and used just over 2,5 x 50 gram skeins. total = 126g

Dimensions:
44 inches in circumference, 5.5 inches high
Each pattern repeat (6 rounds) is approx just over half an inch high.

This pattern has just been test knitted and some beautiful cowls have emerged.

I hope you enjoy knitting this cowl, it’s perfect for beginners too, once you get into the rhythm of the pattern, you will love it!

Remember, if you have any questions, please feel free to write to me:)
