From our home in North Carolina, Grandfather Mountain rises up on the horizon. Gazing across the valley to the rocky face beyond, the rich textures articulate the undulating earth formations below. From the sky above, clouds flitter and form, drawing faces with beards, raindrop tears, whisps of fluffy hair, and a smoking pipe upon the sleeping Grandfather. As I prepare to say “farewell” to this view of 20 years, capturing it in stitches was something fun to do. May you enjoy it, too!

The tech edited and test knit pattern is fully written and charted.
