Mrs T’s Mittens is the first design from the Warm Hands, Warm Hearts collection of 5 mitten and glove designs featuring Jeanette Sloan Baby Alpaca DK. With each release the patterns will be available individually as PDFs (priced at £3.00) or collectively as an ebook priced at £8.00 from December 2013.

This richly textured design is worked flat on single point needles and combines cables, twisted stitches, bobbles and rib on the back of the hand with purl twist stitch on the palm.

It’s knitted on 3.25 mm (US 3) needles to create a denser fabric and the pattern includes instructions for two sizes in a combination of chart and written form. (Shown above in sh Kiwi)
