This is my first formal design, hence the name. The pattern is almost entirely charted, but charts have been broken up to make it very easy on the knitter. It can be knitted either in one piece with slightly different ends or it can be knitted in 2 half’s and then grafted; instructions for both are included in the pattern. A very simple crochet edging is added to both ends of the stole.

You will also need approximately 874 beads, size 6/0, or a size appropriate for your yarn. Beads were added using a crochet hook, size 1.15 mm.
