Nettie is a prefect shawl to wear all year round. Crochet it in cotton and it will add a vibrance to your Summer outfit or make it in warmer yarns to keep you nice and cosy in Winter.

The triangular shawl is crocheted top down and starts with double crochet chainless foundation. Link on how to work chainless foundation in pattern.

Perfect for any level of crocheter.

The pattern is written using UK terms with US conversions given in abbreviation list and it also includes crochet chart.

You will need:
3 x Rowan Superwash Worsted or Rowan Creative Linen (photographed in Mustard 647). For the variegated shawl I have used 2 x Louisa Harding Amitola Grande in Amelia sh.127
I have used above yarn, but any worsted yarn will be fine to use for this shawl (you will need approximately 500m/547yr), taking into account that different fibres result in different drape and effect of finished shawl.

6mm (US J/10) crochet hook.

The completed blocked shawl measures approximately: 164cm (64.5in) at the longest point and 48cm (18.8in) deep.
