About the pattern:
The “Night Bloom Wrap” is named after the beautiful Madelinetosh colourway of the same name. With its knitted-on lace border, this wrap is both gloriously decadent and wonderfully soft. Perfect for dressing up, but lovely and casual, too. Wrap yourself in a bit of luxury!

Yarn / Yardage:
Any fingering weight or 4 ply sock yarn. I used 125 g (525 yards / 480 m) of main colour (Tosh Merino Light in “Night Bloom”) 100 g (420 yards / 384 m) of contrast colour (Tosh Merino Light in “Tern”)

Notions: Tapestry needle, 8 stitch markers

Size / Final Measurements:
This shawl comes in one size, and the final blocked dimensions are length 78” (198 cm) and height = 20” (51 cm). Length or width can be added by adding more repeats of the lace pattern.

Difficulty:
This pattern is suitable for an intermediate knitter who is familiar with lace knitting, reading a chart (although written instructions are also provided, if you prefer), and how to do an applied lace border. Links to helpful video tutorials are provided in the pattern.

Pattern Notes:
First, the body of the wrap is first knit from the bottom-up with main colour. Then stitches are picked up all the way around the wrap with contrast colour and the wrap is finished with a beautiful knitted-on border.

Special thanks to my fabulous test-knitters anvitasinha1, allison1564 and LisaCinFl for all of their help.
