This shawl or stole features rows of eyelets and a panel of lacy cables off to one side (no additional cable holder or DPN is needed). It reminded me of the stars and swirling galaxies and since the color of the shawl is dark I decided to give it the Latin name Noctis meaning “of night.”

I made the shawl from 2 skeins of Madelinetosh DK yarn in the colorway Black Currant. The pattern includes every single row you need to make a shawl that measures approximately 39” x 13” but instructions are also included if you wish to make it even longer.
