For Canadians, the cream and 4 colour stripes - green, red, yellow and black are readily recognizable and associated with the Hudson’s Bay blanket and a part of our heritage.

These famous old blankets of my youth were heavy, scratchy wool, but here, these Hudson’s Bay blanket-inspired cowls are made in a soft alpaca mix.

Directions are for two versions: The first is the shorter, closer to the neck version in the traditional blanket colours. The second is a longer version in non-traditional colours that can be worn long or wrapped around the neck twice.
