This pattern is the February EXTRA pattern for the Black Sheep Hoppy Feet Sock Club.

With so much yarn left after knitting my Northern Lights Socks, I decided the very thing we needed was a pair of mitts to match. So, I whipped out this pair of waffle rib patterned mitts. This pattern used only part of the remaining ball, making it a very quick and economical knit!

This pattern is meant for an adventurous intermediate to advanced knitter. Please read the entire pattern before beginning.

Yarn: 1 skein Misti Alpaca, Hand Paint Sock Yarn Fingering, 50% Alpaca, 30% Merino, 10% Silk, 10% Nylon, 437 yards, Royal Blue HS47 (1/3 skein needed, approx. 150 yards)

Needle: US 1 (2.25 mm) Signature Steel Double Pointed Needles (DPNs) or needles to obtain gauge
