The stole as written uses 420 m or all of two skeins. If you want a longer stole, buy 3 skeins and work more repeats of the bead pattern.

Needles used: US 7 – 4.5 mm.

Gauge is not important. Always use a needle size that gives you a fabric you like. Every knitter’s tension is unique.

Stole measures: 140 x 55 cm (55 inches by 21.5 inches) relaxed after pretty aggressive blocking.

Also needed: Stitch markers, beads if you like. Bead placement is not marked in the pattern. If you wish to add beads, I recommend marking your desired bead placement on your copy of the pattern before you begin knitting, for instance using a highlighter pen. Use your imagination, there is no such thing as too many beads!

Skill level: Advanced. The bead pattern has pattern rows on both RS and WS.

Charts only.

No sewing or knitting together needed, the stole is made in one piece, from one end to the other.
