What am I missing?
Northern Summer Shawl
From the pattern info:
Traditional stitch patterns are interspersed with areas of stocking stitch, and a lovely rhythmical edging is added last. Wider than it is tall, it’s a great shawl to wear wrapped around the neck as a scarf.
Approx 4.5 balls of Jamieson’s Shetland Spindrift were used. The yarn is called ‘2-ply Jumperweight’ but is a light 4-ply/fingering weight.
The pattern has been updated to include both charted instructions as well as written. (Some minor typos and errors have been corrected.)
25.04.11 - Looking through the project pages, I can see that there’s quite a bit of variation in the amount of yarn used; something to bear in mind!
03.12.12 - Have updated the yardage: please take note that many people have used more yarn than is stated in the PDF pattern. New layout coming soon!
