I have a love/hate affair with silk. I love how it drapes, but I dislike how formal very shiny silk can look. With it’s intriguing shades punctuated with sometimes demure, sometimes colorful nubbs, Tussah Tweed from Danish company, BC Garn, has completely changed my mind.

Oar is an interesting paddle-shaped shawl pattern with a chevron lace edging. It works well as a summery shawl, but is surprisingly lovely as a window valance as well. Knit it, hang it, wear it!
