A DK weight cotton yarn. Used here “Organic cotton” and complete Knit Kits are available at www.yarnz2go.com 125 yards/50g a skein. 61 yards used, so one skein can create 2 squares.

US size 4 (3.25 mm) knitting needle, straights or short circular
Cable needle
2 Stitch markers

Gauge
10 sts and 12 rows in 2” of Stockinette stitch.
