This hat is great for hand dyed or handspun yarns. The texture is simple enough to show off the colors and textures of the yarns while still adding a little bit of something extra. A subtle spiral pattern will not overpower or compete with the yarn you choose; rather, it will enhance the yarns’ natural beauty. This design is very unisex and the project can have a more decided gender with the fibers you choose to put with it. It is a suitable knit for beginners with only a few stitches and techniques used, not to mention it’s quick! The brim can be worn flipped up or down, and the hat would also look great if you decided to leave it brimless. Added slouch in the back of the hat will accommodate dreds and any hair that you want kept out of the way.
