Due to changes to EU legislation with regard to Value Added Tax liability from 1st January 2015 I have decided to temporarily suspend pattern sales until it becomes clear what the best option for me will be. I will also be using this opportunity to develop some new patterns, revise layouts, make any amendments and take some new photos. I haven’t set a date for reopening my Ravelry store but it’s unlikely to be before early summer 2015. If you’d like to be notified when I reopen send my a personal message and I’ll add you to a list for earburning when I reopen.

This pattern is adjustable depending on your measurements. The sample shown took just under 2 balls (440 yards) and should fit a size 10-12 (UK) easily.

The pattern name was inspired by a rather hair-raising drive up to see my mother-in-law on the West Coast of Scotland. You drive through the Vale of Glencoe, across the Corran Ferry, turn left and keep going until you meet the sea. To get to her village you turn onto this perilous single track road with passing places (and steep drops into the loch below). I had only recently returned to driving and I’m not sure I’ve recovered even though it was last year!
