This pattern is for a Patriotic Heart Lapghan / Baby Blanket made using the corner-to-corner (C2C) stitch. It would be a perfect gift for a veteran or a military family expecting a baby.

The uses for this blanket are unlimited: lapghan for a wheelchair bound person, baby blanket, something to throw over your lap at a stadium, table cloth, wall decoration, etc.

Can be made with yarn of your choice, I chose to use acrylic because of all the bright wonderful colors available in it. Can be made with crochet hook of your choice, I used a size “J” for the one pictured.

Supplies:
• Crochet Hook size: J / 6.0 mm
• Yarn needle (plastic or metal)
• Yarn of your choice (I used approximately 800 yards Caron One Pounder in White, 160 yards Caron One Pounder in Scarlet, and 100 yards Caron One Pounder in Royalty)
• Scissors or yarn cutter

Gauge: 4 inches by 4 inches = approximately 5 C2C blocks by 5 C2C blocks

Approximate finished size: 34 inches x 34 inches
