I love peach and yellow together. There’s just something so summery and happifying about the combo.

The Peachy Lemon Sorbet Wrap was first published as the Fern Lace Wedge. I am re-introducing it as a pattern and kit using Colorworks by Debi 50/50 cotton/Tencel blend yarn. (You can request a different colorway for your kit. Just ask me!) This is a wedge-shaped shawlette that can be worked in any gauge and knit to virtually any size. You can use the blend I designed for this project, or you can choose Merino or a blend of your own. And you can use whatever needle size you want---the larger the needle, the drapier the wedge. Dramatic increases occur on one side only, creating a curve that allows the piece to drape naturally around the neck and shoulders. And, when blocked, the neck edge flows in gentle, attractive scallops. The cover project was knit using 400 yds of a CBD 50/50 cotton/Tencel blend and a #6 needle. Want it bigger? Order extra yd’age in increments of 100 yds. You can add beads, too, if you desire.
