This is a crochet pattern and not a finished polar bear.

This crochet pattern includes step by step instructions to make your own Pearl the polar bear. There are extra photographs included to help you with finishing and facial features.

LANGUAGE - Pattern is written in English, using UK crochet terminology.

SIZE - approximately 20cm depending on yarn and hook choices and individual tension.

DIFFICULTY LEVEL - Intermediate due to shaping and small parts for details.

SKILLS - amigurumi style crochet (crochet spiral round), magic ring, dc, htr, increases and decreases. Basic embroidery for the face and paws and sewing to attach parts.

MATERIALS NEEDED - 3.5mm crochet hook, Aran weight cotton yarn in 2 colours plus a little black for the facial features, 2 x 9mm black toy safety eyes, 1 x 15mm oval black toy safety nose, polyester toy stuffing, yarn needle. Stitch markers.

Sample uses Three Bears Affection, Aran Cotton.
