The Peechee Slouch by Lovin Each Stitch is a gloriously textured hat with a fabulous slouch. Made with a bulky yarn, it works up quickly and easily. Adorn it with a great button for the ladies, leave it plain for the guys; from preteen to adult, this hat is a sure winner to have in your fall and winter repertoire.

Be sure to match gauge with each hook respectively:

For band: 8 rows and 10 stitches in 4” square with 8.00mm hook. Use stitch pattern for band to achieve gauge.

For hat: 6 rows and 9 stitches in 4” square with 9.00mm hook. Use the stitch pattern for the hat to achieve gauge.

Here’s what you need to make the Peechee Slouch:

Hooks: 8.00mm & 9.00mm or sizes needed to match gauge

Yarn: 109 m / 120 yards of #5 Bulky (We used 1 skein of Bernat Roving)

Notions: 1.5” button for embellishment, a large eye needle
