Showing off small touches of lace, the Penny Vest is perfect for layering in the cooler seasons and wearing alone during the summer months. The Penny Vest is worked in the round to the base of the neck, then worked flat in a single piece to the armholes. Then, beginning at the armholes, the vest is worked flat in 3 pieces. Additionally, the lace inset on the front is knit in a lighter fingering weight yarn for added drape while the rest of the top is worked in DK weight yarn.
