Perennial Garden Shawl was inspired by the natural beauty found in the layering and variety of shapes, textures and colors found in my own perennial gardens. I love the way a garden can shift and grow from one year to the next, as the wind, birds and animals assist in the natural spreading of seeds, providing a garden with a balanced yet layered blending of colors. The Perennial Garden shawl was particularly inspired by my garden in late Spring / early Summer, when the garden is lush and adorned with many different shapes and colors.

Perennial Garden Shawl features a variety of slip-stitch designs and a modified two-color garter stitch. This pattern requires three complementary colorways that will highlight the subtle textures.
