Pernilla is an asymmetric triangular shawl worked in simple lace. It is worked from one corner to the long edge on the opposite side. A single skein of fingering weight sock yarn will produce a decent size shawl.

Yardage:
At least 400 m/437 yd or 100 g. You can continue until you run out of yarn.

Gauge:
18 sts and 30 rows per 10 cm in garter stitch blocked, but gauge is not crucial.

Needles:
3.25 mm/US 3, or the size you need to make gauge.
