When speaking of dragons, people think of either majestic creatures of the air, or terrifying beasts incinerating entire villages. However, these little dragons would fail spectacularly at both. Their stubby wings will never lift them into the air, and their look inspires laughter or pity rather than terror. So they chose a new career path: that of spoiled pets. They are easy to keep as they will eat anything flammable, are very loyal to their master, and with some training might even be used as portable lighters (all their flame is ever enough for).

Dragons crocheted from this pattern are a nice toy size, from worsted weight yarn they will turn out about 14 inches from toe to tail tip and 7.5 inches tall. But you can use any yarn weight as long as you choose the hook size accordingly.
Example dragons took roughly 120 g worsted weight or 75 g DK weight yarn.

The pattern is 13 pages long with many photographs, written in English using US crochet terms. Stitches and techniques used:
starting with magic ring, slip stitch, single crochet, half double crochet, working in front loop only, invisible decrease.
