The Petal Point Shawl introduces texture to accentuate the subtle color changes and contrasts between two similar yarns. Watching the evolving color combinations makes it a joy to knit.

You will need to know a few basic techniques such as m1L, m1R, ssk, k2tog. The pattern includes charts and written instructions and diagrams. You do not need to know how to read a chart to follow this pattern.

Choose high- or low-contrast solid yarns for consistent striping, or choose color-changing yarns for the suspense (and beauty!)
