This is an easy hat to knit and surprisingly quick too, considering that it is knit in fingering weight (4ply) yarn. It is a great way to use up leftover yarn. The hat has a lot of stretch and will accommodate heads a few cm larger than the actual hat size.

Although Celia’s Basket sock yarn is recommended, the design will work with any fingering weight yarn. Just adjust the needle size to get the right gauge.
