Sizing
for lace (fingering) weight versions finished shawl measures 50 (68)” wide and 21 (24)” deep. More repeats can be worked to increase the size of the shawl but this will require more yarn. Finished size will vary depending on how aggressively the finished shawl is blocked.

600 yards lace weight yarn
500 yards fingering/sock weight yarn
(samples shown in Rainbow Heirloom Solo Light in ‘snow melt’ and Rainbow Heirloom Lush Lace in ‘kermit smiled’)

Needles
lace weight: US #5 / 3.75mm
fingering weight: US #6 / 4mm needles
(or as required to meet gauge)

Gauge
lace weight: 28 sts & 34 rows / 4”
fingering weight: 22 sts & 28 rows / 4”
(gauge in stockinette, blocked)
