Pixie hats come in one shape but that doesn’t mean you can have fun with the texture! This is a great winter warmer, the tassels make for a very snug fit. You can make it look really traditional by using a red colour (what was it? red ridding hood?) or very modern with a yellow mustard colour as the one in the picture, for adults I will go grey or brown, any way… have fun!

Sizes: newborn - toddler, child and adult

Materials and notions:

200g (250, 350) of any worsted weight yarn, I used a lovely new wool from New Zealand sold in Lidl supermarket, (can you believe the colour?, and I can assure you the quality is amazing!)
Size hook J (6 mm)
Tapestry needle.
You might want to use some pins to place the plait in place.
