Sizing
This pattern is not sized, it is meant to be worked to YOUR individual size based on two simple measurements.

Fiber
The fiber used in the sample is Artyarns, Ultramerino 4, (191yds /174m 1.75oz /50gr) per sk Colors used: 201/Yellow, 109/Pinks, 119/Greens, 115/Reds.

In any pattern figuring yardages is a bit of a crap shoot. Since this pattern is individually sized, yardages may differ.

Yell and Pink 190 (210, 240, 260) yds each color
Green 380 (430, 480, 530) yds
Red 500 570 (640, 720, 790) yds
Total 1340 (1500, 1670, 1840) yds

Yardages are based on S (M, L, XL) sizing, for fingering wt yarn, extrapolate up or down based on your size. In short, you’ll need 1 part Yellow & Pink, 2 parts Green and 3 parts Red to make the garment.

The Math
Yes, you have to do a very small amount of math in this pattern. By doing a bit of math, you will be able to tailor this pattern to fit ANY size body using ANY weight yarn!

Necessary Measurements
You will need TWO numbers to create your shrug:

A = Your Cross Front Measurement less 2” This is taken across the front, roughly from bra strap to bra strap, and generally runs between 12-16” / 30-40 cm.

B = Your Fingertip to Fingertip Measurement divided by 1.75. It is taken with arms extended and is generally around the person’s height.
