I’ve wanted to knit a skirt for a while, but I only like to knit in the round and all of the skirts I wanted to knit involved an intarsia pattern. Then I discovered intarisa-in-the-round (thanks Ravelry!). This is my first attempt and the method I include in the pattern resulted in a very subtle line in the back, but much less noticeable than a seam

I couldn’t find quite the pattern I was looking for, so I came up with this one. I used the poppy chart from Suzanne Creahan’s O’Keefe bag. I only include instructions for one size in the pattern (about a size 10), but I include a link to a Poppy Skirt Calculator which I reference in the pattern to allow the pattern to be adjusted to different sizes, gages, and intarsia designs. I adapted the leaf edge in the Leaving on the Edge Cowl to knit onto the skirt instead of casting off.

I hope others find this pattern helpful.
