“Primis Infans” means “First Child” in Latin. Not only is this my first designed crochet pattern, it was designed for a friend who is pregnant with her first!

You can do as I did and choose two sets of two colours that blend gradually together (i.e. light and dark blue; light and dark purple) and a neutral colour OR go crazy and choose all different colours that compliment each other well.

This pattern is good for beginner-intermediate crocheters. It is simple enough for even the most inexperienced, using only single and double crochet. However, with the frequent colour changes and v-stitch border, it is interesting enough for the more advanced.

Uses worsted weight yarn in 5 colours. Choose a yarn that has at least 200 yards and you’ll only need one skein per colour! It is designed to highlight your favourite colours, and is easily customized!
