I designed this adorable pattern to make gifts for a friend’s twin babies.

The Scottie Dog pattern is really cute, but also simple and easily personalised. I have provided an outline of colour ideas, but the world really is your rainbow!

The Fair Isle patterns are very easy to master. I have added variegated yarn to add interest to otherwise plain sections, which makes the pattern look much more complex than it really is.

The tank top shape makes this a really versatile piece of clothing year round, whilst the buttoned straps make changing wriggly babies a much easier task! Both pattern and style are unisex, so this makes a great baby gift to make if you don’t know in advance whether the baby will be a boy or girl.

Plenty of ease and a stretchy fit means that you can get far more months of wear out of this than your average shop–bought garment. Super soft, it can be worn next to the skin, or over the top of a shirt, dress or t-shirt whenever you need an extra dash of warmth and cuteness!
