It’s has a motif as a focal point, and the body of a cowl is built around it. As far as the length goes, you can always add or subtract a couple rows to make a desired size change.

Skill level: intermediate to advanced
Finished dimensions: one size fits most. 22 inches in circumference, 5.5 inches wide.
Yarn: worsted weight yarn - about 2 oz Ivory/main color, small amounts of 7 colors of the rainbow (Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Light Blue, Blue and Purple).
Hook: size 8 or H (5mm) or size to obtain gauge.
Other materials: tapestry needle.
Gauge: 1-3 rounds = 2 3/4 inch
