A colorful, roomy tote for needlework, sewing, knitting, crochet, shopping, even laundry. Tote features opposing drawstrings for easy open and close and separate, multi-color handles.

Suggested Yarn Colors: Each square, triangle, and the ruffle has seven rounds for the seven colors of the natural rainbow, in order: red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo, and violet. Any seven colors of yarn can be used (or two colors can be used in alternating rows) for a stunning effect.

In the pastel model pictured, colors are: Red Heart Super Saver (RHSS) Light Raspberry, Lionbrand Pound of Love Creamsicle, RHSS Light Yellow, RHSS Melon, RHSS Aruba Sea, RHSS Light Blue, RHSS Lavendar.

In the vivid model pictured, colors are: RHSS Cherry Red, Pumpkin, Bright Yellow, Spring Green, Turqua, Royal, and Amethyst.

Intermediate: This pattern has been deemed appropriate for those with an intermediate skill level in crochet, according to pattern testers. This is primarily due to the color-change joins and the construction. The pattern includes a helpful schematic diagram, showing where to join the parts together.

Stitches: The stitches used are (US) slip stitch, chain, double crochet, and treble crochet. A stitch conversion chart is included for UK/AUS/NZ crocheters.

Additional Help: A companion pattern, ”Flipped Out Granny Square,” is included and contains a detailed photo tutorial for the color-change joins, which are done at the corners, eliminating an obvious seam.

Gauge: Gauge is not important, however each square pictured is 7.5” x 7.5”.
