This semicircular shawl celebrates the holiday season with multiple lace patterns and a bit of whimsy. The finished blocked shawl measures 60” (152 cm) wide x 26” (66 cm) deep at center. You may choose to add beads to the snowflake and winter forest sections of the shawl.

Don’t love candy canes? See the second and third pictures for the firelight option.

This shawl may be worked with lighter or heavier weight yarns. If you change the yarn weight, make sure that you choose a needle size that gives you the drape you desire in the fabric. Yardage requirements will change based on yarn weight and gauge. You may also choose to make the shawl larger by repeating the winter forest pattern an additional time.

Materials:
730-790 yards lace or fingering weight yarn (solid or tonal will work best), size 5 (3.75 mm) circular needle 32” long, tapestry needle, stitch markers

Beading Supplies (optional):
1.0 mm crochet hook, 431 6/0 seed beads total
