Happy February, happy Friday folks…
#freebeefridayknits! and a cute n fluffy one - who doesn’t love a red squirrel - and it’s a shade thing apparently - Read this:-

Red squirrels’ fur can range from a warm reddish-brown in summer, to a deep brown with grey in winter. The colour may be very variable, ranging from almost black to buff, yet their underside is always cream. They have a bushy tail and ear tufts.

… so it’s up to you what colour you choose!

Anyhow - I’m quite happy how this character has turned out - her body is knitted as one piece with tail and legs sewn on afterward - and I’ve included detailed making up images and instructions in the pattern so it’s not too complicated… and you could always message me if you get stuck!

I used Drops Alpaca - two shades at once - not only because it’s good value and super fluffy and owl feather soft but because it had the most perfect red squirrel-ey shades imaginable…

And a little reminder that the next #freebeefridayknits will hopefully be in a months time - first Friday of March -
- here’s the link to the newsletter www.eepurl.com/cIIfFj]1 where you will get the pattern pdf direct in you inbox the day it’s released and I’ll also gift you the pattern right here on Ravelry.
