P.S. The name ‘Rhodonea Curve’ was given to the pattern by association with mathematical function or sinusoid ‘rhodonea’ (‘rose’), based on a polar-coordinates equation. The sinusoid looks like a symbolic flower. Yeah, I know… ;)
