This easy to knit unisex Gansey style scarf is composed of repeating diamond or rhombus shapes.

It’s a great pattern for even beginners to tackle and it’s really exciting to see the pattern emerge from just a series of knit and purl stitches.

The scarf can be made from any Worsted weight yarn you wish. I used a skein of Spud & Chloe Sweater yarn in the color Chocolate Milk for the scarf in the photos. This is a really sturdy yarn with excellent stitch definition yet it’s really soft at the same time.

The finished scarf in the photos measures approximately 30” x 4” but instructions for making a longer scarf are also included in this pattern.
