This easy to knit unisex Guernsey or Gansey style scarf is composed of repeating diamond or rhombus shapes.

It’s a great pattern for even beginners to tackle and it’s really exciting to see the pattern emerge from just a series of knit and purl stitches.

The scarf can be made from any worsted weight yarn. I used one skein of Spud & Chloe Sweater yarn in the color Chocolate Milk to make the scarf in the photos. This is a really sturdy yet soft yarn with excellent stitch definition.
