The Riley Shoulder Warmer features a soft gradation of colors achieved by mixing stripes with a textured stitch pattern. The effect may look complicated, but the technique isn’t: single rounds of knit and purl stitches are separated by rounds of stockinette stitch, with the decreases worked only on the stockinette rounds. As an added bonus, there is enough yardage in Rowan Felted Tweed to reverse the colors and make a second shoulder warmer.
