The Rita was inspired by a knitting friend who kept bringing me old patterns asking if I could adapt them as she wanted a car coat style. Also she wanted not too much aran! I decided it would be faster to make up a new jacket. She knit a beautiful pink tweed one and I can tell you the notes have been improved greatly from that first one.

Size adjustment: add 4 sts for every extra inch you require. For example add 4 to each front and 8 to the back to get 4 in larger chest size

My biggest addiction is possibly aran knitting or aran stitches. It’s like threading history through your fingers.
