River is inspired by the gentle movement of a woodland stream. The flowing three-stitch cables suggest ripples on water, while the simple, elegant design captures a wabi-sabi sense of natural harmony. Relaxing to knit and pleasing to wear, it’s a project that brings a touch of serenity to your hands.

Construction
The gloves are worked in the round from the bottom up. The right and left gloves are identical, except that the cable section is a mirror image: the palm side is worked in stockinette stitch, while the back of the hand features the cable pattern.
