Another favourite garden bird - that I think(?) is universal - please do tell me if not!

However our UK one represents Christmas… in other places across and around the globe, it’s a harbinger of Spring - which is why he’s here in full red-breasted glory!

AND - It is a #freebeefridayknits knit - but not as you know it!
It’s a 2-parter - like many a good series - they always have a two-parter amongst their scheduling - right!?

My little bird is knitted in one piece - from beak to tail then back to beak - using fine Alpaca yarn doubled up using two colours at once to create subtle tones

I’ve added clear ‘how to make and finish’ images within the pattern…
