This is a crescent shape shawl with an aspen leaf lace edge and stockinette body. It is shaped with short rows. You begin on the bottom lace edge and knit up to the top.

I designed this to remind me of the aspens in the Rocky Mountains! Aspen leaves sound so pretty when they rustle in the breeze.

Materials
1 skein fingerling or light fingerling/ sock yarn (375 or more yards to a 100 gm skein)

1 size 5 (3.75mm) circular needles at least 24” long

17 regular stitch markers

2 removable stitch markers or 2-12” pieces of another yarn to use as markers for short rows.

A needle to weave in ends.
