The hat has a rib stitch hem or facing that folds to the inside and is sewn down to keep you extra warm - mainly because I am kind of wimpy in the cold. The cowl or “neck gator” can be worn folded in half or up to cover the lower portion of your face.
This is my 2009 Ski Hat.
