Skill Level : Intermediate to advanced as the trousers can be fiddly but worth it for his look and anyone who has some experience of making amigurumi would be more than capable of making this. I merely give a skill level so people new to making amigurumi have a level and to avoid disappointment.

I have included links to some you tube tutorials in the pattern.

I have used a DK acrylic weight yarn so it can be washed, as all things baby sometimes need to be, you can use cotton if you so wish.

The facial features can be stitched on making the item suitable for children under three years of age or you can use safety eyes in which case the finished item should be given to children over three years of age.

The pattern is written in UK crochet terms but at the back there is a conversion chart for US crocheters.

This is just a written pattern, no chart provided.

Gauge is not particularly important with this pattern once you keep consistent tension the proportions will be correct.

Materials Needed :
• DK weight yarn in the following colours
Silver Grey
Light Blue
Navy
Red
• 3.00mm crochet hook
• Toy stuffing
• DMC cotton thread in Black for mouth, pink for nose
• For the eyes I used Anchor cotton thread in size 8 and a 1mm crochet hook. You could also use two safety eyes size 6mm or 9mm and you do have the option of using some extra DMC black thread to stitch on the eyes if you so wish. Instructions are giving for all.
• Darning Needle
• Stitch markers
You can of course choose different colours, the official Sam from A Land Close By are the above colours.
