Scotland Scarf
by Ilga Leja
The Scotland scarf borrows from the bold colours of Scottish tartans and is a template for creative colour expression of all kinds.
It is worked in one piece from one end to the other in a reversible knit-and-purl stitch combination. It can be worked to any size you wish--in any colour combination you prefer. The two long sides are then picked up and worked in Reverse Stockinette Stitch to form narrow borders.
A versatile design, suitable for men and children, too.
The pattern includes two versions: the scarf (as pictured) and a shawl version.
