A delicate beaded necklace knit with a unique yarn that combines either wool or silk with stainless steel.

Short rows create a ruffle or spiral as you knit with this yarn. The stainless steel in the yarn gives body to this very thin yarn. You can choose to use beads anywhere from size 11 to size 6, each size creating a different effect. It is not difficult to knit except for working with small needles and very thin yarn. The pattern is easy to follow so I would say an advanced beginner could knit the necklace.
Experience with stringing beads and knitting with beads is helpful.

Sizes: The sample necklaces are both about 16” long. Of course you can make any length you want.

The pattern includes color photos of the finished project, easy to follow directions, a list of abbreviations and a stitch glossary explaining the techniques used in the project. Sources for the yarn and clasp are also listed on the pattern.
