The Bitsy Babies are having fun on the beach.

Little Girl Bitsy has been busy making sandcastles with her bucket and spade, and her best friend is enjoying an ice cream, he’s holding it with both hands so he doesn’t drop it in the sand!

Bitsy Girl is wearing a one-piece swim suit with shoulder straps, a wide brimmed hat with a flower and she carries a bucket and spade.

Bitsy Boy wears a traditional striped swim costume and a sun hat, he’s carefully holding an ice cream

Patterns are given for both Boy and Girl Bitsy Babies and their accessories, they are knitted flat and use basic knitting and shaping stitches.

The body and head are knitted in one piece and after seaming and stuffing the legs are created by sewing a seam through from front to back to divide the legs.
The arms use very simple shaping and are sewn on when making up these cute little characters.
