September’s block is inspired by the stunning shorelines of Utah. They range from the deep caverns that line Lake Powell, to the salty depths of our very own Great Salt Lake all the way to the smaller mountain lakes found within the high Uintah Mountains. You can oftentimes find birds flying across the waters, particularly the white and grey seagulls of our state.

Includes a lined version of the pattern that highlights every other row for easier following.

This afghan block is the ninth block in a series of 12 for the Year of the Afghan. Every first Tuesday of the month I will release the newest square throughout 2015.

Click here to purchase the e-book for $15 and on the first Tuesday of each month you will receive the updated copy with that month’s pattern without having to remember to upload it.

Join the KAL Group on Ravelry for updates, questions, help and to see everyone’s squares!

All squares will follow an outdoor scene theme and will involve different stitches and cables.
