SHANNON SCARF

This scarf/cowl was designed and inspired by the incredibly gorgeous fingering weight yarn I purchased from Yarn Baby LLC. I did not have a pattern in mind when I purchased it. Instead the stitches came to me with hook in hand. This cowl truly designed itself.

This scarf/cowl is incredibly versatile in that it can be made with any yarn and hook you have on hand. The fingering weight yarn and H hook aren’t usually paired together, but in this case it allows a beautifully light and airy stitch and gives this piece incredible drape.

Although the pattern was written using the Fingering weight yarn and an H hook, it has been tested with #4 worsted weight and #6 chunky weight with amazing results! Measurements and suggestions are listed in the pattern.

All of my patterns have been tested by several accomplished pattern testers and designers to ensure that you are getting a pattern free of mistakes and is easy to follow.

Please note that all my patterns are written in standard american terms.
